Originally established in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1997, Aspen Grove has grown into an international business with operations in the United States and Europe. Over the years, Aspen Grove has evolved to focus on the mortgage servicing industry and has invested in building technology and processes capability that are unique to the industry.
Aspen Grove opens its office in Frederick, Maryland, where it is now based. Following a shareholder buyout, Sean Ryan is announced as Aspen’s CEO. In the same year, Aspen launches Aspen iProperty® Vendor Portal for inspection management.
Aspen releases its ‘Protection & Preservation’ module enabling cost control and recovery, investor allowable management, the elimination of bill-backs, vendor oversight, compliance & reputational risk, quality control, and community safety. There are now over 20k vendors being managed on the Aspen Grove Platform.

Having led Aspen Grove for many years, Sean is now the Executive Chair for the company. He has spent more than 25 years perfecting the build, implementation, and integration of software platforms. Sean is on the board of or involved with several other companies, including start-ups such as Shield Hub and other projects such as The Valentia Cable Foundation.
Mike is the CEO of Aspen Grove and serves on its Board of Directors. Before being named CEO in November 2023, Mike was Aspen’s COO, specializing in technical engineering, project management, and software development. Mike has a background in programming and development that gives him a unique focus when deploying enterprise solutions for customers and partners.
Patrick is a technologist with more than 20 years’ experience in IT roles spanning architecture, information security, infrastructure, and software development. Patrick guides Aspen’s technology and product roadmaps, applying his knowledge and enthusiasm for technology to solve problems and transform business.
Manjit has a strong in-depth understanding of margin management, financial restructuring, and investor relations with key reporting intelligence. He brings over 25 years of national and international experience working at senior board level across various business sectors to Aspen Grove.
A highly accomplished operations manager with a significant background in technology, Niamh brings more than 20 years of senior ops experience to Aspen. An advocate of customer centricity, Niamh creates, delivers and communicates value for Aspen’s customers, while growing the Aspen brand and managing key customer relationships.
Maeve manages a wide ranging role in Aspen from People management to leading up strategic initiatives. She brings a wealth of hands-on operational ability and executive level experience to the team. People engagement, open communications plus learning and development are Maeve’s focus areas. She supports a spirit of collaboration and continues to build a learning organization where individuals and teams thrive. Maeve’s reach goes beyond Aspen facilitating educational outreach initiatives and she is a key advocate for Aspen’s sustainability journey.
Ed has built up an extensive skill set through his experience in the technology industry, having held previous roles such as a software developer, management consultant, project manager, and program manager. Ed is now using this knowledge to help manage and run key accounts, focusing on customer value.
Brid joined Aspen in 2015 as a business analyst, having previously spent 15 years working in the financial services sector, later becoming Head of Professional Services. Brid’s team is at the heart of onboarding new clients, understanding clients’ requirements, configuring the best solution for their needs and providing support and training as they utilize Aspen Grove's platform for better servicing outcomes.
Mike has over 22 years of experience in multiple IT disciplines across a range of industry areas such as Healthcare, Insurance, Telecommunications and Property. As a true believer in process efficiency and embracing automation, Mike will always look outside of the MVP to try ensure all scenario possibilities are covered at early stages of planning and implementation.
An experienced Account Manager. Eoghan has worked with start-ups and established organizations across the financial and technology sectors, building and maintaining strategic partnerships. Employing a combination of business development and project management skills, Eoghan works with clients to promote process efficiencies by leveraging Aspen Grove's configuration capabilities.
Jacinta began her career in real estate before moving to Aspen in 2013. Initially a business analyst, Jacinta subsequently moved into Aspen's business development team. Part of Jacinta’s role is introducing Aspen Grove and showcasing the platform's key offerings to prospective clients. Building upon her knowledge and understanding of client, industry and regulatory needs, Jacinta also works on new product features to extend the range of modules that Aspen Grove provides.
David joined Aspen Grove in 2008 as a test manager and has since progressed to Head of Software Development. In this role, David collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver products and services. With more than 25 years experience in the IT industry, David plays an important role in helping Aspen Grove with strategic initiatives, relationship building and process improvements in order to grow the organization.
